These terms cover your use of the Simply Calculator Android application, published by Cypress Technology LLC. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you don't, please uninstall it.
Check anything that matters. Simply Calculator is built to be accurate, but it is a general-purpose calculator, not professional advice. For a decision with money, safety, or legal weight behind it, confirm the result independently.
Your history lives on your device, and only you have it. We hold no copy. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, it is gone permanently and we cannot recover it.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control. You may not sell, rent, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer it, or remove any branding, except where the law says such a restriction cannot apply.
Simply Calculator does arithmetic, scientific functions, unit conversion, and a set of everyday tools, using the numbers you enter.
Simply Calculator is free, with no advertising. The basic and scientific calculator, history, the Length converter, and the Tip & split tool are free. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks the other converter categories, the other tools, and pinned and shareable history. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Cypress Technology LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app — including a decision made on the basis of a result the app displayed, or lost history.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
We may update the app or these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. We may discontinue the app at any time; if we do, it will keep working on devices where it is already installed.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located there have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
