These terms cover your use of the Side Bet Tutorials Android application, published by Cypress Technology, a brand of Cypress Technology LLC. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you don't, please uninstall it.
Side Bet Tutorials teaches blackjack, basic strategy and card counting. Practice uses play units with no value: nothing in the app can be bought, sold, won or cashed out, and the app offers no real-money gambling. Blackjack has a house edge, which the app states. No system beats it reliably; card counting is a skill with real limits, not a way to make money, and casinos may limit your bets or refuse your play. Nothing in the app is financial advice, and success in practice does not imply success at real-money gambling.
Your progress lives on your device, and only you have it. We hold no copy. If you lose the device, uninstall the app or clear its data, it is gone and we cannot recover it. Your purchase is different: it is tied to your Google account and can be restored.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control. You may not sell, rent, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer it, or remove any branding, except where the law says such a restriction cannot apply.
Side Bet Tutorials is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Rules, pays and the legality of gambling vary from place to place; it is your responsibility to know and follow the law where you are.

The strategy, counts and house edges taught are computed or cited for the rules the course states (six decks, dealer stands on soft 17, double after split, late surrender, 3:2). Other tables use other rules, and the right play and the edge change with them. We work to keep the course correct but do not warrant that it is free of errors.
The app is free and supported by advertising. A one-time in-app purchase removes all advertising. It costs US$2.99 in the United States; the price in your local currency is shown in the app before you buy. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
The free version shows advertising served by Google AdMob. We do not choose the individual adverts and are not responsible for their content or for any site they lead to. What the advertising software collects is set out in the Privacy Policy.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Cypress Technology LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, money, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including any money lost gambling after using it, or lost progress.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
We may update the app or these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. We may discontinue the app at any time; if we do, it will keep working on devices where it is already installed.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located there have jurisdiction, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
